Job Description:

The Salesforce Release Manager supports and coordinates the release process across multiple, complex Salesforce orgs within a leading higher education institution. This vital role ensures that technology releases are delivered on time, within scope, and of high quality, managing the CI/CD pipeline and facilitating smooth, efficient release cycles across various project cadences.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Support and coordinate the release process across multiple Salesforce orgs and release cadences (weekly, 3-week, project-based).
  • Manage the back-promotion of changes across lower-level orgs to keep all environments in sync.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline management, preferably with Copado.
  • Practical experience with Salesforce deployments (change sets, ANT migration, Salesforce DX).
  • Development of Advanced Flow-based automation, including Screen flows, Auto-launched Flows, and Omni-Channel flows.
  • Adherence to DevOps and change management processes.

Required Qualifications/Skills

  • 3-5 years of experience in Salesforce release management and as a Salesforce Administrator or Developer.
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce architecture (sandboxes, production, metadata management).
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines with attention to detail.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills for cross-functional teamwork.
  • Minimum Years Experience 3 years (3-5 years in Release Management/Admin/Developer role)
  • Required Certifications: Salesforce Certified Administrator AND Copado Fundamentals I.
